I recorded a demonstration video. But when I try to make changes on the audio, by captivate of Audition and save it, it does’t save so I loose all the changes and can’t make any. Is it a new bug? I did’nt have this issue with the version 2017.

Captivate is the worst piece of software I have EVER been forced to use. Waiting for Lieve to show up and defend it in snotty, broken English.

Having same problem – the proposed fix works but it takes a lot of clicks
Having same problem. Screen recording was done by a coworker, then sent to me. I cannot save changes to the audio.
Will repeat the question that was never answered: are you talking about a Video Demo or a Software simulation in Demo Mode? Big difference.
I have had similar issues with Captivate 2019. Adobe Rep told me to make sure I had my preference setting saving my project to my computer and not a network or external drive. But it did not fix my problem. So I have found that it takes several steps to get your changes on your clip.
Make your changes.(It saves as a (Clip) file in the Library) and save
I rename it to make it easier to find later.
Export it to a file folder
Delete the existing audio file from your video.
Right click on the video and Import audio from your folder.
I have tried dropping and dragging them to the video (has not worked).
Hopefully, someone has an easier fix but this is my current process.
Are you talking about a Video Demo project or about a software simulation project?
