Is there a good way to edit slide lengths and Narration lengths at once in software simulations?
I have some pauses I would like to clip both in slide and sound, how is the best way to do it?

I am using Captivate 2019. And yes I am talking about Demonstration mode and slide audio, not adding audio. When we recorded, we had some pauses that became too long, so I need to cut the audio and the slide (duration at that place) at the same place.
Do you see the audio timeline under the slide timeline? I never record narration at the same time as the actions themselves for software simulations.
I miss some information in your question. Which OS and Captivate version are you using? More important: are you talking about Demonstration, Training or Assessment mode for the software sims?
I suspect you are talking about slide audio, not about adding audio in any other way. If you add slide audio, the slide length is automatically extended to the length of the audio clip. If you have a pausing point from a click box in Training/assessment mode the timeline of that click box is attached to the end of the slide timeline, so this will happen also automaticall.
Please, explain more in detail what you want?
