I have added a video to my Captivate project using the YouTube Learning Interaction. I selected the Auto Play check box; however, when I play the project and it gets to where the video is embedded within the project, I still have to click the Play button from YouTube to get the video to play.

I entered the YouTube video through the Learning Interaction YouTube widget and not through the media video option. I am going to try that option as well; however, I am concerned about the size of the project and how it will play within the LMS. I am on release 2017. I appreciate the response.

OK. Check the exact version number, please: 10.0.1.285 is the most recent version.

You can insert the YouTube with the Web object under Objects as well, will not increase file size.

I don’t have the most recent version as you indicated. I have 10.0.0.192

I will take a look at the Web object option that you mentioned above.

Thanks much!

Do not forget to install the free patch to have the most recent version! Those patches are mostly released to fix some bugs.

Yes – I will work on getting the newest release. I added the web object; however, the video doesn’t auto play. It auto loads but not auto play. I embedded the code from YouTube. Will the video not auto play within my project by using the web object and YouTube?

Did you insert as Event video or Slide video (if you are on CP2019, before it had another name).
