Hi,
This is probably a really stupid questions but I’ve tried different ways to find out the answer, so here goes. I am running Captivate 9 to create mostly interactive pdfs. My questions is this. Will my content still work in Adobe pdf once flash is no longer supported?

Already at this moment it is a problem for some learners: if they didn’t install the Flash Player to be used in Adobe Reader, the interactive pdf will not be able to show its contents. No idea if there will be an alternative, but would recommend to stay away from interactive pdf and exe (also Flash-based) publishing.
BTW are you still on CP9 or are you confusing with CP11 which is also indicated as CP2019?
