Hmmm… why not use the theme of the project and create custom master slides for KC slides and content slides. ‘Background’ can be an image, a background of a project, of a master slide… For consistent design you need to plunge into the power of themes. I have posted a reference document with around 20 articles I wrote about themes. Have a look:

I am wondering if the blurring around the subject is because of not enough lighting? I’m wanting to set up a green screen system for stand up teaching sequences similar to this.
