I am looking to build a field that will validate content from a database outside of Captivate. I know how to create the field in Captivate and think I can set up the javascript to do the pull from a database. I’m curious if anyone has done this before and if so, if they chose to host the database inside their LMS (and how) or elsewhere.

Use case:

Captivate file is a proctored exam. Proctor must entire their unique ID code in order for the test bank to pull the questions. Proctors and codes change regularly, so I do not want to hard code the numbers into the Captivate file to force regular republishing.

I am using the eLogic Learning LMS (I’ve also contacted them for advice).

If anyone has done something similar, I appreciate your help.
