Hi all,

I am having issues with indenting/bullet pointing text.

One screenshot shows what I see in Captivate with indenting working well alongside bullet points, the other screenshot shows what it looks like when in browsers.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? (Using Captivate 2019, Flexbox setup)

Thanks,

Sam

Hey Lieve,

Sorry, fluid box (mixed up terminology from website development) and its Windows 10 / Adobe Captivate 2019 (11.5.1.499)

Thanks,

Sam

I just created one slide with two fluid boxes, and put some two-leveled bullet lists in it, published and it looks well. Difficult to check what is going awry in that case. Is the text in a normal fluid box (was the case for me)? I use the same CP-version.

The text is a shape object within a fluid box. I will try some various different objects and see if that impacts on the output, and then let you know the outcome

Just thought it is on a shape object and one of its states. I know that hyperlinks are problematical on states and wonder if this is the same issue?

My image was showing a shape. But you didn’t mention states… You cannot use interactive objects added to a state, that is the issue with hyperlinks which are indeed interactive. However text is static. Did you add the bullets to a custom state?

Yeah it is a custom state and I have found a workaround

If you indent first and then add bullet points, it appears to work however I was originally adding bulletin points and then indenting which normally works but not in this case.

I always indent first, but didn’t know about this glitch.

You mean a Fluid Boxes project or a non-responsive project? Which version of Captivate and which OS?
