@Phil –

In a case such as this one – I might allow them to keep pressing the button.

I think I would have each button function as a toggle and make it so that they are still limited to three total but can deselect sausage and pick a different option if they change their mind.

I was thinking the same thing. Maybe to enhance the UX, I’d make a variable that lists all the ingredients selected. You can see the list update as you toggle the menu items.

Personally if I were making this for a client, I’d probably switch the development to using JavaScript as opposed to just advanced actions. If the client came back and added a few more menu items, that’s a lot of work in the advanced actions to update. There wouldn’t be that much work needed if it were in JavaScript. Just my two cents.

Nice project Paul. Like Ludovic, I’d want to find a way of stopping someone from clicking multiple times on a button.

Nice and clear as usual !… Thanks Paul !…

An idea for your next video, to complete this one ?

=> Prevent the option of clicking multiple times on the same button by disabled it when pressed…

=> Add a reset button in case you change your mind on your toppings…

PS : I’ve seen on your blog that your next live appearance will be reserved for your patreons… Of course I understand your decision… But let me say that I’m very sad of it !… I miss your online live “Rendez-vous” !…

Take care and stay safe !…

You will still get to see them, just not live. Also, I should point out that becoming a Patreon member is only $1 per month. But regardless of how you do it, I appreciate everyone’s support.
