Are you in a company using a firewall?
It is probably not due to the browser at all but to limitations which are built in your system, where access to some sites are prohibited. Can you watch this video? It is on YouTube:

I will post another link to a tutorial on my domain, which could also confirm my suspicion that you cannot access all sites. It will be in another comment.
