So, from looking at how the drag-and-drop looks in mobile–this is NOT truly responsive design.

This is kind of a deal-breaker for me. It makes me wonder what other aspect of the new Captivate are not really up to par with Classic.

Adobe really needs to get on this.

I don’t think of it as a deal breaker. I know that I will continue to rely on Adobe Captivate Classic for certain projects. Don’t forget your license for Adobe Captivate lets you use Adobe Captivate Classic (version 11) at the same time as the All-New Adobe Captivate (version 12). Adobe has suggested that Classic will continue to be supported until 2027 or until version 12 has matured.
