Hi: I am trying to create annotations on a text, and I was hoping that I could either create a card in-slide when cursor hovers over a word (like Word footnotes, or the hotspots widgets but on a text), or I could create hyperlink from one word to another slide. It sounds like interactions are working with whole block of texts, and hyperlinks in all-new captivate do not point to another slide?

Personally I also regret the loss of the hyperlink actions which we had in all previous versions of Captivate. Now you can only create a link to an URL. Indeed, interactions (including opening an URL) can only be done on blocks. I logged a feature quest about hyperlinks months ago…
