Your problem statement is interesting, but unfortunately, Adobe Captive does not allow you to create a timed quiz with automatic submission. But you can create a timed quiz, which will not automatically submit the answers. To do so, start by adding your quiz questions to the slide. And check “Time limit” and set the time limit to 60 seconds. Preview the project and see if it is working appropriately.
AFAIK time limit is only possible on question level, not on quiz level as was requested by this OP.
Which version of Captivat do you use, please? If it is the new version 12, the answer is probably no. The important time system variables are no longer available and they are essential to find a workflow for your question. For question slides the old existing workflow of timing per question was taken over, although I have solved many timin requests for complete quizzes for clients.
