Hi Matthew,
Please use this install build for CP 12.5 shared by product team for crash issue when trying to add slide video CP 12.5 video import issue Custom build.zip
First uninstall CP 12.5 after selecting “Yes,Remove Preference” > Restart computer > Use the above custom build to install CP 12.5 and check.

I’ve heard this from other posts. I suggest that you email captivatehelp@adobe.com for technical support. Most people here on the forum are users just like you. However, the folks at Adobe are far more knowledgeable about what is happening in the backend of Adobe Captivate.
