We use 2019 Classic and are now trying to move towards using 2023 but I can’t seem to open 2019 Classic files using 2023 Captivate
I was told by someone from Adobe, that we will be able to open 2019 Classic Captivate files using Captivate 2023 …… however, this is not the case. It just hangs and doesn’t do anything.
Has anyone else had this?
I am at a loss of what to do. HEELLPPPP PLEASE 🙂

We have noticed you are trying to upgrade the Captivate Classic files to Adobe Captivate 2023. I appreciate your efforts however, your older projects (from Adobe Captivate Classic) are not compatible with the all-new Adobe Captivate. The two versions have been developed in two different technology stacks, and even the file types are different. However, our team is committed to ensuring that your current workflows are not disrupted. You will have access to both versions of the product with one license (at no additional cost). Therefore, you can work on your existing projects using Adobe Captivate Classic and new projects using all-new Adobe Captivate.
Additionally, our team is also trying to work on a solution that will allow you to migrate your older projects quickly and easily in the all-new Adobe Captivate. While we are at it, we will continue to support Adobe Captivate Classic.
