On slide enter, I want just the slide audio to play and the video with its audio to play only after the slide audio has finished. Is that possible? Can someone tell me how, please? Thanks!

Hi,

Thank you for your query.

For the query related to slide audio to play first, then the video. To achieve this, please try it first on a new slide.
–  On the new slide, please add your audio first, and then add event video (Event videos don’t autoplay—they require a trigger, which is perfect here.)

– Additionally, please select your video and from the properties panel, select hide it during publish.
– From the timeline when the audio ends, please add a bookmark. You can rename the bookmark as well.
– Once the bookmark is added, from properties panel, set the action on it as ‘Show‘. Select your video under ‘content section’ to show it when audio ends. Click on Next and hit Done.
– Preview the slide and check.

We hope this information addresses your query. We also encourage you to submit your valuable feedback and suggestions directly in Captivate via Help->Provide Feedback.

I haven’t tried this myself but I’m wondering if you can accomplish this using bookmarks on the timeline.
